We are looking for a highly organised and detail-driven Procurement Administrator to join our team and support the effective purchasing of materials, equipment, and components. You will play an integral part in ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and smooth procurement processes while maintaining supplier relationships and supporting various administrative tasks.

General Description:

The Procurement team is dedicated to sourcing the necessary materials, components, and equipment required by the business, ensuring the highest quality standards at the best possible cost. The team is responsible for purchasing products in line with technical agreements, process controls, production resources, and quality assurance standards. Alongside the Production Planning Team, the Procurement team monitors and updates forecasted demands via the MRP process, ensuring smooth operational workflows.​

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Obtain quotes from preferred suppliers.
  • Raise and send purchase orders to suppliers.
  • Process orders in line with set Work Instructions.
  • Process invoices along with delivery notes.
  • Assist with handling inquiries in the Procurement inbox.
  • Update and maintain supplier records in SAP.
  • Manage filing for daily tasks.
  • Handle phone inquiries and general administrative tasks.
  • Assist the Head of Procurement and Procurement Team Leader with other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • General office administration experience.
  • Willingness to study towards CIPS qualification.

Qualifications:

  • GCSE level education (preferable).

Salary:

From £26,000 DOE
